How to reach

From New Jalpaiguri (NJP) or Bagdogra, the usual approach is by reserved car through the Teesta/Peshok side or via Darjeeling–Ghoom, depending on road conditions. Allow roughly 3–4 hours for most villages in this belt, with extra time for the last local road.
