How to reach
Most visitors travel from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) or Bagdogra by reserved car via Kalimpong or Gorubathan/Lava. The journey commonly takes about 4–5 hours, and the last forest roads can be slow. Internal stay records most often reference njp/new mal junction as the nearest/most practical rail connection for this destination.
