Best time to visit

November to March is especially comfortable for forest-edge travel and birding. October and April can also work well. The monsoon is very wet in the Dooars and some wildlife activities may be restricted seasonally.

How to reach

The most practical railheads are Alipurduar Junction or Hasimara; NJP is also possible for a longer transfer. Bagdogra is the nearest major airport. Continue by reserved road transfer toward the southern Jaldapara/Sisamara side; travel time varies with route and forest-area conditions.
